Data Deletion

Last updated: October 14, 2026

This page explains how to request deletion of your data from Inkjin, Bookpay and Omi, including data from Instagram.

1. Data from Instagram

Omi

If you are an Artist and have connected your Instagram account to Omi, Omi stores the following, solely to answer your direct messages and pass requests to you:

  • Your Instagram profile information (username, profile picture, account ID) and your latest posts, shown on your Omi profile

  • The direct messages and pictures people send you, and the requests Omi collects from them

  • The Instagram access token needed to keep the connection

What happens automatically:

  • Conversations, their pictures and their requests are deleted 6 months after the last message.

  • When you disconnect Instagram, your messages and pictures are deleted immediately, and requests stay in your Leads for 30 days, then are deleted. Your posts already shown on your Omi profile stay until you unclaim your profile.

To delete this data:

  • In Omi: go to Train Omi → Instagram and select Disconnect.

  • IIn Instagram: go to Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites, and remove Inkjin. Everything Omi holds from your Instagram, including your posts and requests, is deleted, and you receive a confirmation code you can use to check the status of your request.

  • By email: send a request to [email protected] with the subject line "Instagram Data Deletion Request," including your Instagram username and the email associated with your account. We will delete all Instagram-connected data, including messages and requests, within 30 days.

If you messaged an Artist on Instagram and want your messages deleted from Omi, email [email protected] with your Instagram username and the Artist's Instagram account. We will delete the conversation within 30 days.

Bookpay

If you connected your Instagram account to Bookpay to import your posts, disconnect it in your Bookpay dashboard. Imported posts and access tokens are deleted immediately.

2. Deleting Your Inkjin Account and Data

Any Visitor, User, or Artist can request deletion of their Inkjin account and all associated personal data at any time.

To request account deletion:

  • In-app: go to Profile Settings, select "Delete Account," and confirm.

  • By email: send a request to [email protected] with the subject line "Account Deletion Request," including the email address associated with your account.

What gets deleted, and when:

  • Users: your data is deleted from the Application upon account deletion, and permanently erased from our systems within five (5) years of that date.

  • Artists: your data is retained for five (5) years from the date your cooperation with Inkjin ends, after which it is permanently erased.

  • Data from Instagram is handled as described in Section 1, independent of your main account status.

These retention periods reflect our legal and tax record-keeping obligations under Greek law, as set out in our Privacy Policy.

We will send a confirmation email once your deletion request has been completed.

3. What Is Not Deleted

Some information may be retained beyond deletion where required by law — for example, transaction records needed for tax or accounting compliance, or data necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. This is described in full in our Privacy Policy.
