This website or mobile application (the “Platform”) you are now visiting is owned and operated by Inkjin ("Inkjin", “us”, “we”, or “our”). When we process your personal data on our Platform; provide services or products to you; when you create an account on our Platform; or when we communicate with you, we are your data controller and point of contact.
The management and protection of the personal data of the visitor/user of the Platform are subject to the terms of this document as well as to the relevant provisions of Greek law (Law 2472/1997 for the protection of individuals about the processing of personal data, as supplemented by the decisions of the President of the Hellenic Data Protection Authority, Presidential Decrees 207/1998 and 79/2000, and Article 8 of Law 2819/2000) and European law (Regulation EU 2016/679, Directives 95/46/EC and 97/66/EC).
In any case, Inkjin reserves the right to change the privacy policy without prior notice.
Visitors to the Platform are required to carefully read the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy before visiting or using Inkjin's applications and services. In case of disagreement, they should refrain from using them.
Why do we collect your personal data?
We process your personal data for marketing purposes, to provide you with various tattoo-related services and goods, and to communicate with you.
What personal data do we collect and how?
We will process your personal data, including contact details such as your name, email address, telephone number, and postal address. The personal data is provided by you.
The personal data that Inkjin collects are the following:
Creation of an account
When you create an account on our Platform, we process your personal data for us to fulfill our part of the contract as an intermediary; in this case, the processing is based on the GDPR Article 6(1)(b).
Creating an account on the Platform requires the following information: Email. To access the Platform, you must provide the information listed above. Inkjin keeps track of the personal information you supply solely to provide the service you requested. This information is never shared with third parties.
Marketing & Newsletters
If you agree to receive newsletters from Inkjin, we will process your personal data in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.
For a user to subscribe to Inkjin's mailing lists, the following information is required: Email. Inkjin keeps track of recipients' email addresses solely to send certain newsletters. This information is never shared with third parties.
A user that has subscribed to Inkjin's mailing list can unsubscribe at any time, by using the Unsubscribe option. Inkjin reserves the right to remove any user from its mailing lists without explanation.
Using our Platform
When using our Platform, we process your personal data using cookie technology which entails the use of necessary cookies, statistic cookies, and marketing cookies. Our processing of cookies is based on your consent and the GDPR Article 6(1)(a).
When we share cookie information with the purpose of remarketing to you on other platforms (social media, websites, apps, etc.) we follow a legitimate purpose where our legitimate interests override your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms and where the processing is based on the GDPR Article 6(1)(f).
Face Data and TrueDepth API
Our app uses your device’s camera solely to enable our augmented reality (AR) features, allowing you to visualize a tattoo design and is not linked to your identity. We do not collect, store, or process any Face Data or TrueDepth API data from your camera. The AR features are designed to function entirely on-device, ensuring that no facial recognition or depth information is transmitted, saved, or shared externally.
Applying for a job
If you apply for a job with us, we will process your data to assess whether we will offer you a job. In this case, the processing will be based on the GDPR Article 6(1)(b).
Various communication
In any other cases, such as in case you might contact us for further inquiries, if you wish to complain, etc., we will process your personal data to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims, where we are following a legitimate purpose where our legitimate interests override your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms. The processing will then be based on the GDPR Article 6(1)(f).
Cookies
We use cookies to keep our Platform functional and useful for the purposes described above. We use the following types of cookies:
Necessary Cookies. Necessary cookies help make our Platform usable by enabling basic functions like page navigation and access to secure areas of the Platform. The Platform cannot function properly without these cookies.
Statistic Cookies. These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with our Platform by collecting and reporting information anonymously.
Marketing Cookies. These cookies are used to track visitors across our Platform. The intention is to show ads that are relevant and engaging for the individual user.

The Platform includes links to other websites that are not controlled by Inkjin but by third parties (natural or legal persons). Inkjin is not responsible in any way for the Privacy Policies they follow.
IP Addresses
The IP address through which the computer has access to the Internet and subsequently to Inkjin is used exclusively for collecting statistical information by the statistical service provider [Google Analytics].
How do we disclose your personal data?
We do not sell, rent, or otherwise disclose your personal data to others for their independent use, except when expressly required by law or if deemed necessary in relation to the purposes as described above.
In any case of disclosure of your personal data, this will be based on the GDPR Article 6(1)(a) when you have consented to receiving marketing from our affiliates, Article 6(1)(b) when we act as an intermediary in connection with you purchasing services or products on our Platform, Article 6(1)(c) when legally required to do so or Article 6(1)(f) when we remarket you using cookie technology and when we are establishing, exercising or defending legal claims, etc.
Your personal data processed by us will be transferred to countries outside the EU/EEA. In this case, the transfer will be based on the GDPR Article 49(1)(b-e).
Personal data may be processed by external suppliers, including data processors, who are under written instruction from us to process personal data.
How long do we keep your data?
In general, we will keep your personal data for as long as you have an active account on our Platform and/or have opted to receive direct marketing from us, or until you request that we delete your personal data.
What are your rights?
Please be informed that for all the aforementioned purposes of processing, you may exercise, on a case-by-case basis, at any time, the right to access, correct, and/or delete your personal data, as well as the right to portability and/or objection, without the need for specific justification, by sending a relevant letter to our company or via email at the address [email protected].
In case you exercise any of the aforementioned rights, our company will take every possible measure to satisfy your request within one (1) month from its submission and identification, informing you in writing of the satisfaction of your request, or the reasons preventing the exercise of the relevant right, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation.
Specifically, to revoke consent to use your email address, this can be done electronically by following the unsubscribe option, which is incorporated into each relevant communication (unsubscribe).
How do we secure your data?
The process of personal data processing is conducted in a manner that ensures its confidentiality. Inkjin and its collaborating parties use appropriate technical and organizational security measures, adhere to regulations, and implement other procedures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, disclosure, loss, accidental/unlawful destruction, and/ορ any other form of unlawful processing.
However, no data system can be 100% secure. Hence, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data. Moreover, we are not responsible for the security of the data you transmit to us over networks that we do not control, including the Internet and wireless networks.
