What it's for
Your payout setup at your studio, and the Stripe account your money goes to. Payouts are automatic.
What you can do
How you get paid shows your setup:
Artist - Direct payment: you get 100%. if your renting a workstation this is the option for you. You collect all the money pay the rental fee directly to the studio, outside of Bookpay.
Studio - Revenue split: for example you 60%, studio 40%, confirmed by the studio. After it's locked: only the studio can change it. Click Switch to direct payment to go back to 100%. It's your decision, and the studio is only notified.
You always change how you get paid (Artist - Direct payment and Studio - Revenue split).
The studio wants to change your split: an amber bar shows the current and proposed split. Click Accept new split or Decline.
Payment account: your Stripe account and bank (last 4 digits). Disconnect asks you to confirm first.
Good to know
Every change applies only to new bookings* Bookings already made keep their split.
Artist need to set up a Stripe account regardless of their relationship with the studio (renting a workstation or revenue split).
If you disconnect your Stripe account, clients can't pay deposits and new bookings are paused until you connect again. Money already on its way still arrives. Your setup is kept. Click Connect with Stripe to reconnect.
In you work out of your own space you're always paid directly.
