After Stripe charges the client's card, it deducts processing fees from your payment—just like the POS in your studio. BookPay remains completely free for artists and does not take a percentage from your payment.
Typically, Stripe's processing fees are 1.5% + €0.25 for European cards and 2.9% + €0.25 for non-European cards. Clients can also pay with bank transfers and local payment methods (such as IRIS, iDEAL, Bancontact, or SEPA) which have much lower fees.
