We want booking tattoos on Inkjin to feel safe and fair. Here’s what happens if you cancel or miss an appointment.
Cancellations
Each artist sets their own cancellation deadline (e.g. 24h, 48h, 72h).
If you cancel before the deadline, you get a full refund of what you paid.
If you cancel after the deadline, your deposit is non-refundable.
If the artist cancels, you get a full refund of what you paid.
Rescheduling
Each artist sets their own reschedule policy (for example: never, once, twice, or unlimited).
If you reschedule within the artist’s allowed limit and before their cancellation deadline, your booking simply moves to the new date without any penalty.
If you try to reschedule after the cancellation deadline or more times than the artist allows, it will be treated as a cancellation, and the artist’s cancellation policy will apply.
If the artist needs to reschedule, they will send you a request to choose a new time for your appointment.
Refunds
Deposit only: Refunded in full if you cancel before the deadline. Not refunded if you cancel after.
Full payment:
Refunded in full if you cancel before the deadline.
If you cancel after the deadline, the deposit is kept by the artist, and the remaining balance is refunded to you.
Booking fee: Inkjin’s small booking fee is always refunded.
No-Shows
If you don’t show up, your artist keeps the deposit.
Any prepaid balance (beyond the deposit) is refunded to you.
✅ Key Point: Deposits protect your artist’s time. If you cancel early, you’ll always get your money back.
