How Available Designs Work on Inkjin

Updated over a week ago

Available designs are pre-drawn tattoos that artists upload to Inkjin. Clients can browse, choose, and book them instantly without back-and-forth messaging.

Example

Let’s say Maria is a tattoo artist. She wants to make her designs available for clients to book directly through Inkjin.

Step 1: Maria Uploads Her Designs

Maria uploads several designs into Inkjin. For each design, she adds:

  • The image of the design

  • Minimum Price (£200)

  • Minimum Size (10cm x 15cm)

  • Estimated time (3 hours)

Step 2: Alex Browses Maria’s Designs

Alex, a client, visits Maria’s booking page.

  • He sees all her available designs in one place.

  • Each design shows the price, size, time required, and availability.

Step 3: Alex Selects a Design

Alex clicks on the design he likes.

  • He reviews the details: £200, about 3 hours.

  • He chooses a date from Maria’s available calendar slots.

Step 4: Alex Pays & Books

  • Alex pays the required deposit (or full price) online with his card.

  • Payment securely is processed.

Step 5: Booking Confirmed

  • Maria instantly sees Alex’s booking in her Inkjin dashboard — blocked for 3 hours.

  • Alex gets a confirmation email with his booking details, payment receipt, and any notes from Maria.

✅ Why This Works

  • For Maria (artist): Designs are organized, instantly bookable, and time is automatically blocked in her schedule.

  • For Alex (client): He knows the minimum price, design, and time before booking — no guessing, no back-and-forth messages.
